About

Kyan Mortazavi

Kyan Mortazavi is a researcher and language educator whose work sits at the intersection of applied linguistics, educational technology, and teacher cognition. He is currently completing a PhD at Griffith University, where his research examines how teachers metacognitively regulate their use of digital tools to design formative assessment tasks in mobile-assisted language learning contexts.

With a background spanning English, German, Middle Eastern languages, and European studies, his approach to language education is comparative by instinct and language-agnostic by design.

This site documents the research in progress. Enquiries are welcome.
